Jonathon Davies was our guest speaker at Tuesday night’s dinner meeting. Jonathon was sponsored by Griffith Lions Club to attend the London International Youth Science Forum last year.
There were around 500 participants aged from 16 to 20 years old.
Jonathon is about to start a science degree at Wollongong Uni and he said that the LIYSF has helped him narrow down what field he wanted to study.
He has also made friends with other overseas participants who have started a group chat.
Jonathon thanked the Griffith Lions Club and presented President Josh with a certificate of appreciation.
